What we do

AIG develops insurance solutions that address the exposures of companies and individuals, embodying the tradition of innovation and bringing to market groundbreaking insurance solutions for our changing world. Based in our Netherlands office located in the Rivium in Capelle aan den IJssel, you will be part of our Accident & Health (A&H) team of currently 5 enthusiastic professionals.

As the world changes rapidly and the level digitalization increases enormously, we see 24/7 platform economies rise and digital distribution of embedded insurance solutions become more mainstream. Within A&H, the Create & Go segment is focusing solely on setting up (digital) distribution partnerships by co-creating meaningful insurance solutions with these partners. We specialize in insurance solutions related to the financial consequences of accidents or sickness through both traditional insurance solutions and services that support our clients when it matters most.


About the role

Together with our partners we develop tailor made (digital) insurance solutions to strengthen their competitive advantage. Within this role you will support in the end-2-end process from prospecting to onboarding partners within the A&H Create & Go segment. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Making sales pitches, business cases and going through internal approval processes for onboarding our partners.
  • Keeping our customer relationship management systems up to date.
  • The process of product development by keeping overview of the AIG processes we will need to follow to successfully launch a new product.
  • Developing data analytics and portfolio management/analysis to be able to manage the portfolio.
  • Contribution to the A&H and Create & Go growth target.

We are looking for a young professional who is eager to learn and flexible in the way of working. We value a diverse background of experience, culture, and thought. You are a hands-on person who is constantly looking for business opportunities and you feel comfortable working in an international environment. You are a real tech-savvy, someone who is able to help taking the Create & Go segment to the next level together with the team.

Our ideal candidate has excelled in previous work/internship experience, demonstrated outstanding academic and extracurricular achievement, possesses strong analytical skills and is a team player. You are pursuant of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, graduating in 2021 – and preferably within the domain of (international) Commercial Economics of Business Studies.
Besides the Dutch language, fluency in English is important, as the Early Career Program is an international initiative and cross-border co-operation is a necessity.
